Sr. Sustainability Consultant, Director of Health & Wellness Services

Michael is a Senior Sustainability Consultant and Director of Health & Wellness Services at The Green Engineer, where he has played a key role since 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Building and Construction Technology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and brings over a decade of experience in sustainable design and certification consulting.

Specializing in health and wellness within the built environment, Michael leads LEED and WELL certification efforts, guiding project teams with a calm, efficient, and detail-oriented approach. His leadership was instrumental in the EMD Serono Project Sagamore achieving the first WELL Gold certification in the United States under the New and Existing Buildings category. He has also managed numerous WELL Building and WELL Community Pilot certifications across a wide range of project types.

Michael holds a number of advanced professional credentials, including LEED AP (BD+C), WELL AP, Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC), Fitwel Ambassador, WELL Performance Testing Agent, and WELL Faculty. He is actively involved in industry organizations such as BE+, IWBI, and USGBC, continuously advancing best practices in sustainable and wellness-focused design.
