Technical Assistance Services
While federal funding may be uncertain, state agencies continue to support energy efficiency projects through utility incentive programs. We can help you navigate and leverage these opportunities for your projects.
The Green Engineer, Inc. has a long history and significant experience in helping teams navigate utility incentive programs. For over ten years, our energy modeling team has provided technical assistance services related to incentives as a preferred vendor for Eversource throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut. We are recognized as ZNE Experts under Eversource’s Path-1 Net Zero and Low EUI Buildings program, which launched in July 2020. TGE has a 20-year track record of providing energy modeling services with a wide range of building types and market sectors.
In 2025, we expanded our regional reach. We are now approved to assist in Eversource (MA, NH, CT), NGrid (MA), NJCEP, NYSERDA (Upstate & Downstate NY), and Cape Light Compact territories for both new construction and existing building services.
We have experience in facilitating energy charrettes to identify energy conservation measures (ECMs), providing EUI benchmarks and helping with the development of project specific EUI targets. TGE provides detailed design reviews to ensure if the project is on track to achieving its energy reduction targets or to recommend additional strategies to help the project meet program requirements. TGE also has experience writing detailed M&V plans to assist in performance verification efforts.
