CHPS Certification

The Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) isa green building rating system designed specifically for schools.  We provide CHPS certification project management services, typically using the Northeast CHPS rating system (NE-CHPS).  CHPS can be used for new construction andmajor renovations, and provides two certification levels – CHPS Verified and CHPS Verified Leader.  The certification process is similar to LEED, however, one distinct difference is CHPS includes a credit category focused on operations & maintenance.  The Green Engineer has worked on several CHPS projects, including the Mountview Middle School and the Glover Elementary School.
