Sustainability Consultant I

Tate joined The Green Engineer as a Sustainability Consultant in 2023. In her position, she specializes in LEED, Fitwel, and WELL projects to integrate sustainable practices into building design. She collaborates with project teams to promote sustainable building materials, implement energy-efficient strategies, and incorporate design elements that create healthier indoor environments. Prior to her time at TGE Tate conducted materials research, allowing for a deep understanding of what makes up our buildings, and the environments in which we spend most of our time.

Tate received a Bachelor of Science from the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences at Boston College with a major in Biology and a minor in Environmental Studies. Sher is passionate about environmental justice and believe that sustainability should be something that is accessible, and applicable to all people.
