Sustainability Consultant II

Krista Poulin joined The Green Engineer in 2020, inspired by a passion for creating spaces that nurture both people and the planet. With a focus on the connection between natural systems and human health, she works closely with project teams throughout every stage, from early planning and regulatory review to construction and completion.

Krista enjoys advocating for project teams to go beyond their sustainability goals while keeping projects grounded in practical and achievable outcomes. She’s currently leading her first Living Future Core Green Building Certification project and enjoys sharing her expertise in sustainable materials and regenerative design using the Living Future framework as a guide. Her project experience includes a wide range of building types, from higher education and offices to K–12 schools.
Beyond her consulting work, Krista serves as Secretary on The Green Engineer’s Board of Directors and contributes to internal strategic planning initiatives that strengthen collaboration and improve team efficiency.

Krista earned her Master’s in Sustainable Design from the Boston Architectural College and her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Keene State College. She holds several designations including LEED AP with a BD+C specialty, Living Future Ambassador, and Fitwel Ambassador.
