Archana Janardanan, LEED GA

Archana Janardanan joined The Green Engineer in 2023 as a Building Performance Analyst I. Her expertise lies in using modeling and analysis techniques to help the team optimize building performance.

Having served as an architect in India for several years, she transitioned to the United States to undertake a master’s program in Building Science at the University of Southern California. As part of her thesis work, she was involved in designing a compact residence for Joshua Tree. This design prioritized maintaining thermal comfort throughout the year, even amidst the harsh desert climate, through the strategic use of advanced building materials and a dynamic thermal insulation layer. Sustainability and energy efficiency have consistently been central to her professional goals.

Archana holds the LEED GA accreditation. Archana has a master’s degree in Building Science from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from India.
