University Hall @ UMass Boston Opens Today

University Hall at UMass Boston formally opens today.  UMass Boston Chancellor J. Keith Motley cordially invites the public to celebrate the grand opening of 190,000 SF new, academic building.  University Hall will serve a broad cross-section of students, faculty, and staff through state-of-the-art classrooms, chemistry teaching labs, specialized instructional and performance/art spaces, offices, the Beacon Cafe, and student lounge and study spaces.

The Green Engineer served as sustainable design consultant to the project, designed by Wilson Architects, and provided LEED Project Management and Energy Modeling services on the project. The project is targeting LEED Gold certification.
