Bulfinch Crossing Residential Tower

At a height of 480 feet, Bulfinch Crossing’s Residential High-Rise tower will be the tallest for-rent residential building in the City of Boston. Given its prominent location and height, this tower is envisioned as one of the best-in-class residential properties in Boston. With a total square footage of 547,900 SF, the tower includes 486 apartments (with a covered bicycle parking space for each unit) and over 25,000 SF of amenities. The tower is part of the transformation and adaptive reuse of the existing, Government Center Garage into the 2.9 million SF Bulfinch Crossing development.

Sustainability Features
The Bulfinch Crossing Residential Tower is located in the urban core of Boston. The site is well connected to public transit with adjacent access to subway (2 lines), bus and commuter rail. The design employs a high-performance envelope as well as high-efficiency lighting to reduce the overall energy costs by over 18%. Users are afforded a high level of thermal and lighting control for all spaces. In addition, low VOC finishes and materials have been selected, and measures to reduce and control indoor chemical and pollutant sources transform the project into a healthy environment for residents and staff alike.

The project is targeting LEED NC v2009 certification.
